Reach the top of the Saribung Peak in the Himalayas
Discover a dazzling place that few people ever have the chance to
Unveil all the mysteries of this magical region in Nepal
The Saribung Peak offers a challenging trail. To reach the top, we’ll cross some difficult passes, and beaten tracks. But, standing at the top of it and admire all the beauty that will surround us will be the best reward!
This colossal peak lies in remote areas of the Mustang region in the Damodar Himal. It is right at the border with Tibet. And the trails here are as impressive as they are beautiful. Most of them are rugged and cut high into cliff sides. But all of them have one thing in common: they all lead to stunning villages that seem to have fought time to preserve themselves. So, walking across these villages, and meeting their inhabitants, is a true honor that very few people ever get the chance to do.
Another amazing thing about this trip is that we can start our journey in different ways. Meaning we can begin in Phu, to later ascend to the Saribung pass, through which we can enter the Mustang Hidden Valley. Then we can return to Jomson. Or vice versa, begin at Jomson and make our way through the Upper Mustang Trail. Thereupon descend to Nar-Phy and end at Besisahar. The itinerary will depend on your requests!
Even though this trip could be an easy ascent for experts in mountaineering, there are still many icy passes and crevasses, especially between Damodar Kunda and Nar-Phur. Hence, I’ll make sure we follow all the rules necessary to ensure your safety.
Don’t miss the chance to trek across splendid sceneries and learn about the local culture. Send me a request and let me guide you through this wonderful place!
