Description

Positioned between two great mountains: Ranrapalca (6,112m) and Palcaraju (6,274m), the Nevado Ishinca (5,550m), while the smaller of its neighbours, is nonetheless an amazing peak. And, in just 3 days, you will get to climb your way to the top of the mountain’s amazing summit.

Located in the Cordillera Blanca of Peru, the Nevado Ishinca is a great mountain to climb for those who wish to take on the much larger peaks in the range, but want to get properly acclimatized and get some important experience in the area first.

Our journey will begin in Huaraz. From there, we will go to either Pashpa or Collon (3,600m). After that, we will go to the base camp of the Nevado Ishinca (4,350m), where we will spend the night. On the following day, we will climb to the summit of the mountain. After you’ve soaked in some tremendous views, we will then head back to the base camp for the night. On the third and final day of the trip, we will leave the base camp and go back to Pashpa before returning to Huaraz.

Participants on this trip should be in good physical condition. Prior mountaineering experience is recommended as well.

An extraordinary expérience with Pablo and Alex, two fantastic guides (and now friends for life) from Huaras, Peru, who are at the same time extremely professional and incredebly flexible. We reached the summit on day 8 to benefit from a good weather window. My heurt is full of gratitude for the who le expérience and the magical encounters I was blessed with during that expedition. Probably amongst the very best memories in my entire life. Thank you si much, guys! And see you soon for new adventures 😛🔥❤️😊

The guide did the absolute minimum he could possibly do. The food provided was definitely not enough for what we were doing. This was already a fast itinerary and he cut it short by two more days. It made it extremely dangerous for us as clients. 2 of the 5 of us had to get flown off the mountain by helicopter due to edema because we didn’t acclimate properly. The guide then lied on social media and claimed 100% success to the summit. He really is a snake. He only cared about cutting everything and doing it as cheap as possible, most likely just to make a few more bucks. If this was a service offered in the U.S., there would’ve been a lawsuit. He should never guide this trip ever again for the pure safety of the clients.
