Description

Come along with me on a 4-day hike within a UNESCO World Heritage Site: the mighty Dolomite Mountains**.**

The Dolomites are a hikers’ paradise with lots of different trails and scenery. From lush forestry to rocky terrain, you’ll get to enjoy the diversity of the region during this hike.

Along the way, you’ll also get to stay in traditional mountain huts and experience the friendly Dolomites’ hospitality.

Our trip will begin with a hike across open pastures of the Pian dei Buoi plateau to our first accommodation.

From there, we’ll spend a couple of days hiking through beautiful mountainous terrain and picture-perfect meadows.

We’ll end with a hike around one of my favourite spots – the Tre Cime di Lavaredo. In many ways, these three distinctive peaks are the symbol of the area.  You simply cannot leave without having seen them.

This is an unmissable hike, and the perfect summer getaway. Request to book now, and I’ll be waiting for you here in the mountains.

If you are interested in a more extended trip in the Dolomites, you should definitely check out my 6-day, all-inclusive hike around the Marmarole circuit.

Day 1: Day one

On our first day, we’ll meet in Auronzo di Cadore. From there we’ll take the ski-lift up to Mt. Agudo. This will give us access to beautiful forests and pastures. We’ll hike across the plateau of Pian dei Buoi and pass beautiful alpine huts like the Rifugio Ciareido and Baion. Finally, we’ll reach Rifugio Chiggiato where we’ll stay the night.

Day 2: Day two

On our second day, we’ll leave the hut and descend through lush forest. We’ll take a wide gravel track before we take an ascent to the Rifugio Galassi. We’ll keep going from there until we reach Rifugio San Marco our second place of accommodation.

Day 3: Day three

We’ll start our day tackling an uphill hike. Then we’ll take in spectacular views as we descend through the Somadida controlled Nature Reserve until we reach Palus San Marco. Here you can choose whether you cycle back to Auronzo or if you stay at a hotel in Palus San Marco.

Day 4: Day four

For our final day, we’ll drive to Misurina to begin our hike around the famous Tre Cime di Lavaredo. These peaks really are the symbol of the Dolomites.
