Mount Brewster (2,516m) is the highest mountain in the Eastern corner of the Mount Aspiring National Park, located in New Zealand. On this 4-day mountaineering tour you can reach its summit with an expert mountain guide!
Mount Aspiring National Park stands at the southern end of the Southern Alps. Covering an area of 355,543 ha, it is one of New Zealand’s biggest parks. Furthermore, it is offers unique landscapes including huge peaks, beautiful glaciers, valleys and lakes.
Mount Brewster is one of the most popular peaks in this area. At a short driving distance from our office base in Wanaka, it is perfect for an awesome 4-day climbing experience.
First, we will meet at Wanaka or Queenstown and drive to the Fantail Falls carpark. After an initial stream crossing we will get to the alpine zone and the charming Brewster Hut (1,450m), which will be our base. Then, the following day we will get to the top of Mount Brewster either by West or South Ridge. Additionally, we will also have an extra day and can try a simple climb to Mount Armstrong (2173 m).
Our guide will focus on your fitness and climbing levels and will regulate the pace accordingly. However, you need to be in a good health and having some ascent skills.

Great trip to Gillespie Pass! The organisation was great, and in particular my guide Cameron was really professional and very well prepared, and we had a lot of fun on some spectacular hikes and chilling out afterwards at the excellent huts. An absolute highlight of my New Zealand trip!
