If you have always wanted to embark on a rock climbing adventure, but have no experience, this trip in South Sardinia is for you!
Over a period of 4-days we will be practicing and learning some of the most important elements for rock climbing. And we will be doing it in one of the most magnificent places for this wonderful activity, South Sardinia, Italy.
Sardinia is a marvelous Italian island that lies in the Mediterranean Ocean. Also, it is brimming with fantastic geological formations, that are simply an open invitation for rock climbers. The coastline has wonderful rocky stretches, as well as mesmerizing inlets and ries, and some deep, wide bays. And on this itinerary we’ll visit some of the most beautiful spots of the island.
Moreover, the trip is designed for those who have no experience, or want to practice on a specific technique, or improve their skills. The trip is personalized. Thus, the level ranges from beginner to intermediate.

Most of our climbing will be taking place in two areas. The first will be in the majestic rock of the South West of the island, right at the cliffs by the ocean. And the second area will be in the hinterland of Sardinia.

Price details
The price for the course only is 220 euros per person, and on top of the guide fee, organization and teaching, it includes RC insurance and climbing equipment. It does not include the overnight stay in B&B or transportation. ** The price with the overnight stay and transportation is 350 euros and it also includes the guide fee, organization, RC insurance and climbing equipment (B&B Pedra Rubia in Nebida, transport at the crag). ** None of the fees include travel expenses, meals and beverages, or any other expense not mentioned here.

Mountain Guide
My name is Marco Bigatti, nicknamed “Il Biga”. I was born in Milan, I started climbing in 2006 and since then I have not been able to tear myself away from the vertical world. I turned my passion into a job, becoming Mountain Guide in October 2017, the first mountain guide that lives all the year in Sardinia.
I experience the mountains from a 360-degree point of view. I have practiced all disciplines of climbing in the Alps: rock climbing, alpinism, ice climbing , as well as ski mountaineering.
In addition to alpinism, I love pure sport climbing, seeking out the best climbing sectors throughout the entire Alpine range. But it was in Sardinia that I found a paradise of crags, in particular in the south-west of the island, where you are able to enjoy all types of climbing throughout the year.
