Description

Patagonia is one of the top spots in Argentina for winter sports. The town of Cholila in Chubut is located at the foothills of the Andes, and is the perfect location to access remote areas of the mountains by helicopter. On this 5-day heliski week in Patagonia we will give you the chance to ski or snowboard down some of the most pristine unmarked slopes in the region!

We will begin by picking you up at either the Esquel or the Bariloche airport. Keep in mind that the drive from Esquel is 90 minutes long while the drive from Bariloche takes around 3 hours. Also, we offer a heliski option to and from the airport that you can check with us about. Once we arrive at our luxury mountain lodge with stunning views of the Andes, we will have a meet and greet with the rest of the people in the lodge. After a trip briefing we will have a wonderful Argentine gourmet dinner together. You will also have the possibility to unwind at our sauna, and spa room. Then, the following morning we will set off on our adventure. Every day we will explore a different area of the Andes including peaks and glaciers, which will give us plenty of skiing and snowboarding opportunities!

Because we will be out on the mountain all day it is important that you have a good fitness level. Also, prior experience is preferable. Keep in mind as well that our itinerary will be flexible to adapt to conditions and your needs and preferences. Furthermore, should we get bad weather, we also have other alternative activities for you to ensure your utmost enjoyment. We will of course be available to help and guide you at all times!

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland.
