The Rhodope Mountains are well known all across Europe because of their well preserved ancient relics and the untouched wilderness and varied fauna. This area is a great place for bird lovers and nature admirers. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to connect with an amazing landscape!
Hiking, river kayaking, biking, helping in a bird-watching centre and in the maintenance of footpaths in the Studen Kladenets nature reserve are wonderful ways of getting to know this exceptional place.
And there is more to it! During this trip, you will meet Betty and Nicolas, your hosts at Wild Farm, in Gorno Pole. You will help them do their usual activities around the farm: breed local livestock: horses, cows and goats. You will also have the chance to see some of the largest birds of prey including different types of vulture, the Golden Eagle and the Black Stork.
This trip can be arranged according to your preferences. For more information, you can find the complete itinerary below.

About the Guide
I've been lucky enough to have the opportunity to travel a lot, most of all in my country and the surrounding ones, but travel has been part of my life since forever. It started as my hobby and a preferred way to spend my holidays which, with the time, naturally evolved into being part of my professional career.
Bulgaria has 2 alpine Mountains which are not the largest in the World, but offer great deal for Mountaineering. Having 4 seasons, I'm able to practice both rock & ice climbing as well as Ski touring and snowshoeing.
I started guiding 7 years ago and, for the moment, I work with foreign people travelling in Bulgaria and the Balkan Peninsula. I guide hiking, scrambling, climbing and mountain biking tours and I work in a cooperation with a few Bulgarian colleagues of mine.
