This 7-day ski touring trip in Lofoten will take you up to some of the most amazing and mystical ski slopes in the world!

Lofoten is an archipelago located to the northwest of the Norwegian coast, north of the Polar Circle. They are not as world famous as they should be, so it’s the perfect spot to enjoy some incredible and totally virgin slopes.

There are more than 40 known ski peaks to climb and ski down!

And I’ll take you wherever you want to go, always looking at the weather conditions and your ski level to make sure we have a safe trip. Every day we’ll put our skins on and climb for 3 or 4 hours to reach a summit. From up there, we’ll enjoy the scenery for a while and then the fun ski down, sometimes all the way to the beach!

And if you’re still hungry for more, we can go for a second summit on the same day!

The ski terrain has many options for different levels and strength. You can choose a spacious and wide 30° or a steep, rock penetrated gullie.

Plus I’ll be taking care of all your needs. The lodge’s team will satisfy all your needs so you’ll only have to concentrate on having a good time!

Mountain Guide

I love the mountains and they have been my destiny and my passion for more than 20 years now!
Everyday I feel a big gratitude to work in this outstanding landscapes and being able to inspire my clients - we always have a good time together and make it a unique experience!

I am based in Schaffhausen, a nice historic town in the north of Switzerland and the area of lake constance. From here we have all options, whether it be one-day-trips to eastern- and central alps or whole journeys to foreign countries.

My second base is the small town of Arolla, Valais - all high peaks of the alps are around this area. It is exactly between Zermatt and Chamonix, a perfect place to be...I love the contrast of the different cities!

Together with my team and friends from BERIE alpine school we want to invite you to join our climbs and skiing trips or our trekking trips around the world. In high altitude mountains, I have lot of experience, working many years in this game with well-established partners, for example as guide on Mount Everest (Summit success 2003 with 7 members).

In my program you will find fine mountain journeys with or without skis. We will offer you not just the climb and a summit successes! Mountains are not gyms!

To get in touch with the local people and to understand their way of life and history is an important part of my philosophy. Thomas was just a great guide! It had been awhile since I had been part of a rope team and he kept me in check to get me back in the swing of it. Thoroughly enjoyed it! We only got to summit Monch due to inclement weather rolling in and overnight it got worse. Made the call to come back another time and attempt Jungfrau. Can't wait to climb again with Thomas!
