Itinerary

Day 1: Ascend Triglav's North Face

Optional pick-up from your specified location and transfer to Vrata Valley, the starting point for the approach to the wall.
Equipment inspection and briefing in Vrata Valley.
Approximately 1.5 hours of approach from Aljaž hut to the base of the wall.
Commence climbing, which may last from 5 to 10 hours, depending on the chosen route.
Descend to the starting point in Vrata Valley (4 hours).
Additional fee if opting to summit Triglav.
Accommodation at Kredarica hut, if required, located at the summit of the face.

Equipment you will need to bring

Essential equipment: - Appropriate mountain sports attire for comfort - Wind-resistant outerwear - Protective gloves - Spare socks, undergarments, and shirts - Headgear such as a cap or buff - Summer mountaineering boots or climbing shoes based on the route - Backpack with a capacity of at least 30-40 liters - Headlamp - Snacks - Insulated 1L bottle for hot beverages - Sunscreen, toothpaste, and other personal care items - Identification card and cash for food and lodging Essential technical gear: - Climbing harness - 2 screwgate carabiners - 1 x 120 cm endless lanyard - Helmet If you do not have the necessary technical gear, we can provide it to you. However, advance rental arrangements are required.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland.
