I would like to invite you to reach the summit of Aconcagua by its normal route.

The program I want to offer this time is longer than usual. This is because the idea of this trip is to increase the chances of success for those climbers who need extra acclimatization.

In addition to that, during this 20-day mountain trip you won’t only climb Aconcagua but also Mt. Bonete.

During this adventure we’ll take advantage of the normal route, which is technically easy. The focus will be on controlling the effects of altitude, which are what makes this route difficult. That is why I am so careful with acclimatization.

The first treks are especially important. They will help us to acclimatize well. We will first approach Plaza de Mulas (a 3-day trek) and then Plaza Francia. It is the Base Camp of Aconcagua’s south wall.

In order to help with acclimatization and enjoy the experience to the fullest, we will also climb Mt. Bonete (4900m). And then we will be ready for our biggest goal!

This program includes 2 added days of double equipment porting and extra days in case of bad weather. Please keep in mind that at high altitude there is sometimes a white wind that makes the ascent harder. That is why I use those “security days” to increase our chances of success.

If you’re an advanced climber, take a look at my 19-day program to Mount Aconcagua. It’s perfect for those who don’t need so much acclimatization.

Acclimatization issues are no longer an excuse! Contact me now and I’ll be here, ready to help you get to the Aconcagua summit.
