Description

Explore the historic site of Adamello, Italy on this exciting 3-day tour, which can be done from mid-June to mid-September. We’ll discover the history that this War site holds and the region’s beautiful landscapes. Join me on a wonderful adventure!

The starting point for this high-mountain traverse will be Passo del Tonale. From there, we’ll take the Presena Pass cable car. We’ll then continue to Passo Castellaccio and travel the popular “Path of Flowers”, an incredible high-altitude path full of remnants from the First World War, such as artillery positions, trenches and shelters carved into the rock. We’ll then reach Rifugio Mandrone – City of Trento.

On the next two days we’ll visit exciting and incredible places as well. Some of the places we’ll explore include: Vedretta del Mandrone, Pian di Neve, Passo della Lobbia, Cresta della Croce and many others. Besides, we’ll get to spend the night at Rifugio ai Caduti dell’Adamello, the highest refuge of the Adamello-Presanella Group at an altitude of 3,400 meters. Once we reach the peak, there are several options to descend.

Are you ready for a unique adventure in Adamello? Then join me on this wonderful adventure to the top of this open-air museum. I would love to be your guide.

There are other options to enjoy Adamello as well. I offer freeride skiing day-tours and a ski touring weekend. Be sure to check them out.

A very interesting tour of Piz Bernina with a mixture of snow/glacier and rock climbing. Definitely not easy though and requires a good head for heights. Renzo is a very good guide and has an excellent knowledge of the area and the climbing sections. As a result, we were able to quickly climb the final section from the hut and had the summit all to ourselves.

Snow and weather conditions were poor to say the least, but Renzo was a top guide and the tour we did was a good adventure!

Renzo was a lovely guide. We had a good day out and he was experienced. We would have liked a more calm pace though, some time to sit down, have a snack or a lunch in the fantastic environment. The pace was a bit fast for that.

Renzo provided us with a fantastic and memorable trip up Monte Rosa and Gran Paradiso. He looked after us the whole time and we felt comfortable with his guidance and experience. The trip was challenging in parts, not helped by the heatwave that was melting the glacier as we descended, though he navigated us all down safely. The trip was challenging for our group and it could have been adjusted for a slower pace, but the melting glacier made us push faster and we were glad Renzo was there to ensure our safety. Explore Share did a good job arranging the trip. There was a hiccup with the payment which took a long time to go through the payment portal and a lot of back and forth though was rectified eventually in the end. No issues with Renzo our guide or Explore Share and really fantastic service from both. I gave the trip itself 4 stars rather than 5 as was a bit challenging for us though we managed it and have some amazing memories to take away with us. Thank you to Renzo and Explore Share for a trip we will all remember for a long time!

An amazing experience doing the Senterio dei Fiori with our guide Renzo. A true ambassador of the Via Ferrata fraternity.

Renzo is a considerate, skilful guide and a good companion. Highly recommended. Under the conditions we climbed in (i.e. warm and cloudy) the route is less highly rated. The track through the "Eck" was much more demanding than Goedecke suggests in his book "4000er" and I would only attempt it again earlier in the year. Renzo took loads of photos so that was good. Grazie Mille!

The tour to the Pisgana glacier was great, even though the snow conditions were icy & challenging. We’d definitely recommend Renzo, the guide, and the Explore Share website. The costs were v.competitive and an incentive to book. The only drawback was the website made it difficult to swop some details like email addresses (e.g. for sending photos). Anyway, we intend using the service & guide again next time we’re in Passo Tonale!

Great guide with great knowledge of the area. Freeride in Passo Tonale is not really good for snowboarders as the "way out" fro many runs are long and flat

We booked the "Freeride skiing day trips in Passo Tonale, Adamello Range" through Explore-Share.com The booking procedure was very easy and our mountain guide Renzo took us on 2 perfect freeriding days, finding untouched powder even after 1 week of last snowfall. If we go back to Passo Tonale for freeride skiing we would definetly go with Renzo again.
