While the Cascade Mountains in the Pacific Northwest are mostly known for ascents of snow-capped peaks, the region is also an excellent spot for alpine rock climbing.
In Washington State, there are plentiful and diverse alpine offerings, ranging from immense rock walls to complex faces composed of solid granite.
While some routes may require traversing glaciers in order to enjoy incredible climbing, many other routes simply require scaling solid rock walls or getting atop rugged ridges.
Depending on your skill level and what you’d like to accomplish, we will tailor the perfect itinerary just for you. Below is a list of some examples of routes for climbers of all different levels here in the Pacific Northwest.
