Description

Illinza is a double peak volcano in the Volcanoes Avenue, in Ecuador. It has two peaks, the North (5126 m) and the South (5263 m). Here I propose you to summit the South (“Sur” in Spanish) peak during this 2-day trip.

We find this volcano 55 km to the south of Quito.

It is an excellent acclimatization summit in order to prepare for Chimborazo, Cotopaxi or Cayambe. We can take this trip together and then I will guide you in the ascent of one of these other higher volcanoes in Ecuador.
