Description

When you take the route across the Marmarole mountains, in Italy, you feel submerged in a multicolor painting. Everywhere you look is part of a perfect brushstroke that composes a fantastic image.

That is why I want you to join me in a 4-day trekking adventure to this extraordinary place full of plateaus and steep descents and ascents.

It starts in the picturesque town of Auronzo di Cadore, in the Veneto region. From there, we take the chairlifts to Monte Agudo, an impressive elevation at 1,573 m. This path has a lot of ups and downs on the ridge of the Croda del Grazioso peak and the Col Borgiou.

Afterwards, we visit the plains of Pian dei Buoi, an immense plateau with silky pastures. On our way, we also reach the Ciariedo hut at 1969 m, where the views over the Dolomite range are more than enough to take your breath away. Then, we continue our way to the Baion hut, where we spend the night.

On the second day, after a steep descent we reach Val d’Oten and Capanna degli Alpini, our next accommodation. The third day takes us on a hillside path to Col de chi da Os, where the San Marco hut is waiting for us to spend our last night.

In the morning, we climb the steep face of Forcella Grande at 2255, our maximum height on this trip.

To end this unparalleled expedition, we go through San Vito Valley  and the cinematographic forest of Somadida.

You just need to be in good physical condition and have a strong sense of adventure to join. If that describes you, sign up now! I am waiting for your request.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
