Join me for some fun verti-hiking and scrambling in Beez (Wallonia)!
Verti-hiking combines classic hiking with rock climbing techniques to be safe on the rocks. This includes walking roped, easy rock climbing, scrambling and descent abseiling.
This great discipline will allow you to live an exceptional adventure thanks to the aerial ambiance as well as the original itineraries. We will be near Namur, in an ideal location. In fact, the Beez rocks are one of the most renown rock climbing destinations in Belgium. The massif is in a remarkable forest, and the views of the Meuse valley are truly beautiful.
I particularly like guiding this verti-hiking program because:
– The green setting has beautiful views over the Meuse valley
– It's possible to combine it with hiking, abseiling, aerial traverses and easy rock climbing
– Access to the site and parking are easy.
We can leave for a full day, or for a half-day (the latter only during weekdays).
If you want to combine the trip with rock climbing, you can learn more about rock climbing in Beez here. If you prefer to combine it with via ferrata, what about Grands Malades? And another fantastic destination for verti-hiking is at the Calanques, in France.
Tempted to try this fun activity? Then don't hesitate to send me a request! I would be happy to guide you there!
- Guiding fee
The price indicated is for a half-day trip, only possible during weekdays. If you want to leave for a full day (any day), the price is 300€. In this case it can be combined with other activities in the area.
If you are not a member of an alpine club, you will have to pay the access to the rock (12€ for adults, 6€ under 18 years old). Equipment rental is 5€ per person (harness, helmet, quickdraws, rope, belaying device).

Very nice trip. The via ferrate was not very difficult. We could finish it in about 1hour and a half. The remaining time we did another (small, slightly more difficult) via ferrata and some climbing. Great guide.

Pont-à-Lesse via ferrata is gorgeous, and Willy is the best guide one can wish for: very knowledgeable and calm. This was my very first ferrata, and Willy helped me feel and be safe. Many thanks!

Such a great way to experience climbing in another country/area! Ivan was my climbing guide and he was super knowledgable and supportive. We went through warm ups, stretches, and best falling practices before we began. I'm an intermediate climber and I learned a lot and felt very safe! He even showed me exercises that could help improve my technique. I'm super grateful I booked through explore-share and plan to do so again when I'm traveling!

We had a great day with Leo. He drove us to a spot with many problems from easy to hard. He was super supportive and positive and gave excellent coaching and climbing advice. He didn't just give beta but really worked with us on the subtle techniques necessary at Fontainebleau.

Petit couac pendant l'organisation, mais tout est rentré dans l'ordre et c'est très bien passé au final
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
