Carros de Foc is one of the most classic ski touring routes of the Pyrenees. If you want to experience it for yourself, join me on this unforgettable 5-day trip!

Located within the Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park, Carros de Foc is a must for all mountaineering lovers. During the winter, this amazing 55km route turns into an awesome ski touring destination with unbelievable powder descents.

This 5-day ski touring trip crosses one of the most beautiful landscapes of the Pyrenees. Every day will be a new adventure, hiking and climbing we will reach some amazing spots with many descents to choose from. Top-quality snow and fabulous panoramic views are guaranteed! We will stay in charming and beautiful mountain huts like Ventosa and Estany Llong, and ski on impressive peaks such as Montardo (2833m), La Creu de Colomers (2896 m) and Pic Monestero,(2877m).

I'm an AEGM-certified mountain guide from Spain.

My work and my passion for the mountains have taken me all over the world.

I spent 8 years leaving in my van as a ski bum in La Grave, in the French Alps, enjoying the steep skiing there.

I also spent 5 years guiding ski touring, alpine climbing and rock climbing in Norway (Lofoten, Senja, Lyngen Alps, Kvaløya, Stetind), where you can feel the power of nature like in very few other places on Earth!

But it was in the Spanish Pyrennes, my own backyard, where I grew as a mountainer and skier. Here, you can enjoy some tapas and a good wine after a crazy heliski day!

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge.
