Every ski enthusiast dreams about endless routes with powder snow. Central Hokkaido, Japan offers that and so much more! Follow me on an incredible 12-day adventure and explore the best ski spots in the area.
The spectacular Central Hokkaido maintains the Japanese traditions and culture, unlike other parts of the island that have been more “westernised”. There, we can find Onsen villages, modern kitsch resorts, old school ski resorts, city life and the charming colors of rural Japan. I’ll make sure you enjoy the Japanese culture by taking you to local restaurants to try regional and seasonal dishes, such as ramen and sushi. There are also plenty of places with international cuisine for you to choose from.
On this adventure, we’ll spend 8 days ski touring in different ski resorts. We’ll use chair lifts, telepherics and skins close to the areas of Asahikawa and Obihiro. We will spend approximately 3 days traveling to and from the destinations we choose. Then, the rest will be for skiing and fun. Additionally, we’ll also visit the iconic Onsens for a relaxing bath after a long skiing day.
Ready for an exciting adventure in Japan? Then send your request and I’ll make sure you spend 12-unforgettable days in this marvelous corner of the world.
This trip must be booked at least one month prior to the requested departure date.
If you love skiing as much as I do, explore with me all the incredible skiing places around the world, such as Val d’Aran in France or the Atlas Mountains in Morocco.

I'm an AEGM-certified mountain guide from Spain.
My work and my passion for the mountains have taken me all over the world.
I spent 8 years leaving in my van as a ski bum in La Grave, in the French Alps, enjoying the steep skiing there.
I also spent 5 years guiding ski touring, alpine climbing and rock climbing in Norway (Lofoten, Senja, Lyngen Alps, Kvaløya, Stetind), where you can feel the power of nature like in very few other places on Earth!
But it was in the Spanish Pyrennes, my own backyard, where I grew as a mountainer and skier. Here, you can enjoy some tapas and a good wine after a crazy heliski day!
You are very welcome to contact me to enjoy an amazing trip or adventure in the mountains!
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
