Cerro Pedro Zanni (4,185m), 3-day ascent from Las Cuevas, near Mendoza

Located at the foot of the Cerro Matienzo (5,083m) in the Quebrada de Matienzo, the Cerro Pedro Zanni (4,185m) is a wonderful peak to climb. And, for 3 days, I would like to guide you to its summit.

Standing tall in the Argentinean Andes, near the city of Mendoza, the Cerro Pedro Zanni offers some wonderful views. Furthermore, the surrounding area is stunning, and I have no doubt you’ll have a great time exploring it.

Our trip will begin in Uspallata (1,900m), which you can reach by bus from the city of Mendoza. After your arrival, we will take a transfer to Las Cuevas (3,200m). From there, we will trek to our base camp, where we will eat and rest for the night. On the following day, we will wake up early and make our way to the summit of the Cerro Pedro Zanni. After you’ve enjoyed the views from the summit, we will make our way back down to the base camp, where we will eat dinner and sleep for the night. On the third and final day of the trip, we will dismantle our base camp and trek through the Matienzo Creek to Route 7, where we will take our transfer back to Uspallata. Once there, you can take a bus back to the city of Mendoza.

In order to participate on this trip, you should be in good physical condition.
