Discover one of the best spots for mountaineering in the Chilean Patagonia: Cerro San Lorenzo.
Located in the border between Chile and Argentina, in the Andes, Cerro San Lorenzo has 3706 meters of altitude and is the second highest peak in Patagonia.
I propose a great program with a duration from 10 to 15 days, in which firstly we’ll depart from the Cochrane town to Puesto San Lorenzo. There will begin our adventure. Once on the top, we’ll appreciate amazing views of the surrounding summits.
This expedition has a high difficulty, with a very technical ascent and poor weather. Because of this, climbers must have prior mountaineering experience and an excellent physical condition.
Cerro San Lorenzo is a fantastic adventure for ski mountaineers!
So, If you have any interest in this expedition, feel free to contact me to get more information about it!

Our Cerro Castillo trek was a highlight of our Patagonia trip. Our guide, Nacho, was a great hiking companion and very accommodating of our preferences, including what hike we wanted to do, what time we wanted to start in the morning and our pace. He also took the time to meet up with us the evening before to discuss logistics. He spoke great English and we had a truly memorable day.
