Experience an amazing 5 day climbing experience to the summit of the beautiful Chopicalqui peak in the Cordillera Blanca mountain range of Peru with IFMGA certified guide Edwin.
And for 5 spectacular days, I would like to guide you to the summit of this great mountain. The views you will get not just from the summit but during the entire climb are absolutely unforgettable. Also, when compared to other peaks in the Cordillera Blanca, Chopicalqui is actually considered one of, if not the easiest to scale.
We will be camping at various spots throughout the ascent. And each one, from the mountain’s base camp to the Moraine camp (4,850m), offers a great opportunity to admire the amazing scenery.
Once you reach the summit of the peak, if the day is clear, you will have the opportunity to see the entire Cordillera Blanca. And you will get to see a number of the majestic peaks that call the range home. A few examples include Pisco (5,752m), Huascaran (6,768M), Chacraraju (6,108m), Huandoy (6,360m) and so many more.
While Chopicalqui is considered the easiest mountain to climb in the range, it is still a 6000 plus meter peak. As a result, there will be some challenges. However, I will see to it that you are properly and safely guided every step of the way. This trip will also be carefully planned, as weather and snow conditions, as well as your skill level and ambitions will be considered.
So send us a request, and join us on this amazing 5 day adventure to the top of one of Peru’s most beautiful peaks. We know you’ll have a great and memorable experience.
I can also lead you to the summit of Alpamayo on this 8 day adventure.
