Description

One of the many great 6000 metres plus peaks in the Cordillera Blanca, Chopicalqui (6,354m) is an amazing climb.

And for 5 spectacular days, I would like to guide you to the summit of this great mountain. The views you will get not just from the summit but during the entire climb are absolutely unforgettable. Also, when compared to other peaks in the Cordillera Blanca, Chopicalqui is actually considered one of, if not the easiest to scale.

We will be camping at various spots throughout the ascent. And each one, from the mountain’s base camp to the Moraine camp (4,850m), offers a great opportunity to admire the amazing scenery.

Once you reach the summit of the peak, if the day is clear, you will have the opportunity to see the entire Cordillera Blanca. And you will get to see a number of the majestic peaks that call the range home. A few examples include Pisco (5,752m), Huascaran (6,768M), Chacraraju (6,108m), Huandoy (6,360m) and so many more.

While Chopicalqui is considered the easiest mountain to climb in the range, it is still a 6000 plus meter peak. As a result, there will be some challenges. However, I will see to it that you are properly and safely guided every step of the way. This trip will also be carefully planned, as weather and snow conditions, as well as your skill level and ambitions will be considered.

Along with the guiding fee, the price also includes transportation during the trip, meals, porters where applicable, camping and cooking equipment, group climbing equipment, safety supplies and park entry fees. However, the price does not include hotels and meals in Lima and Huaraz, any flights, and personal clothing and equipment. The price for 8-9 people is US$980 and for 10 or more US$850. The prices previously displayed are for private groups. For shared groups, starting at 5 people, the price is US$1050.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland.
