Are you looking for a stunning rock climbing trip in the Alps? Then come with me to the Cima Grande di Lavaredo, in Italy, and explore its famous Normal Route!
Tre Cime di Lavaredo (Italian for “Three Peaks of Lavaredo”) make up one of the most famous formations of the Alps. As part of the Dolomite Mountains, these impressive peaks between Belluno and South Tyrol, Italy are also a premium destination for lovers of rock climbing.
On this outing, we will head up the Normal Route to the top of the highest of the three peaks: the Cima Grande di Lavaredo. This 400-meter multi-pitch route is easy (IV UIAA level), and it will take us less than 45 minutes to complete it. Therefore, you do not need to be an expert to join the trip.
