Follow me to explore the incredible Crown of Musala on a trip that combines hiking and rock climbing. This wonderful adventure to reach the Balkans’ highest peak in Bulgaria is perfect for outdoor lovers looking for a different experience this summer. Come and discover the beautiful Rila National Park.

We’ll meet in the Sofia Airport and transfer to Samokov, where we’ll spend the night in a family guesthouse. Then, the following day, we’ll transfer to Borovets and take the lift to the starting point of our traverse to the three highest peaks in the region: Musala, Malka Musala and Irechek. On our last day, we’ll rock climb in Borovets on a wall with 21 routes. Finally, we’ll transfer to the airport.

This trip is perfect for people in good physical condition and with some experience in mountaineering and rock climbing. Of course, I will be there to help and guide you.

Mountain Leader

I was born in the town of Lovech, Bulgaria, and inherited my father’s passion for the mountains and started climbing at an early age. Gradually, alpinism turned into my way of life and I graduated from the National Sports Academy, specializing in Tourism and Alpinism.

I've been an active athlete for many years and have won the Alpinism National Championship multiple times and the Bulgarian Climbing & Alpinism Federation Annual Award 3 times.

I have done numerous ascents in the Alps, the Himalayas and the Andes and I am the founder of the Alpinism & Climbing School, which has considerably contributed to the Bulgarian mountaineering and climbing culture.

I am also a member of the Governing Board of the Bulgarian Climbing & Alpinism Federation a certified mountain guide, and a climbing and ski instructor with numerous first ascents in Bulgaria and worldwide.
