If you are a experienced mountaineer, climb the Dhaulagiri summit. Join Pemba, a IFGMA certified mountain guide, in this amazing 50-day expedition.
Dhaulagiri peak is located in western Nepal and it’s considered the seventh highest peak in the world. It has 8167 meters high and its name means “white mountain”. This massif extends from Kaligandaki to Bheri rivers for 120 kilometers.
This a multi-pitch rock and ice climbing available only for experienced climbers with prior experience in altitudes over 7000 meters. Additionally, it’s a primary requirement to be in good physical condition. Besides this, it’s an 8000 meters peak of easy access and with no technical difficulty.
I propose a 50-day program in which firstly we’ll visit Kathmandu city and its most important attractions. Afterwards, we continue trekking to small villages such as Tatopani, Ghasa, Tukuche, Marpha, Raughat. During our treks we’ll learn about the incredible Nepali culture. Then, we ascent to Dhaulagiri from where we’ll enjoy incredible views of the surrounding summits. Lastly, we descend through the towns to Kathmandu, where we’ll take our flight back to home.
If you are considering to climb a peak over 8000 meters high, Dhaulagiri summit is a good option because:
– It is one of the highest peaks in the world, which means that is a great objective for experienced climbers. A great opportunity for mountain lovers!
– It offers an ideal and varied terrain where you can improve your climbing skills. Indeed, it’s accessible.
– Besides the technical part, this climbing offers stunning views and landscapes.
