This is the legendary north-south traverse of the Dolomites! Join me for an 8-day hiking trip in a wonderful scenery.

During this hut-to-hut experience we will cross the most beautiful areas of the Dolomites, a mountain range of Northeastern Italy.

Our starting point will be Braies Lake, which is famous worldwide for its stunning beauty. From there, we’ll head to the South through the Sennes plateau with its particular environment. And then through the Lagazuoi area and the Five Towers.

Finally, we’ll traverse Nuvolau range with the First World War open air museum, around the two giants of the Dolomites: Mount Pelmo and Mount Civetta.

If you want, it is possible to add 3 more days to this trip to complete the Haute Route in the wilder and more difficult final part. In that case, a UIAGM mountain guide will support you through a Via Ferrata on the south wall of Mount Schiara.

I enjoy guiding this Dolomite Haute Route because it’s a unique opportunity to see all the Dolomites at once and enjoy this unbelievable environment that has been recgonized as a UNESCO world heritage.

So please contact me if you want to join me for this 8-day adventure in the mountains. I will be glad to show you the best spots around here!
