A dream for any mountaineer, the Everest base camp (5,364m) more than lives up to its lofty reputation. And on this 17 day expedition, I would like to guide you to the camp, with a number of great highlights along the way.

Beginning in Kathmandu, our adventure will take you from the Nepalese capital city on a short and famous flight to Lukla. Though only 40 minutes, the flight will definitely stay with you, as the views and experience are unforgettable. From Lukla, we will begin trekking. On our way to the Everest base camp, we will be stopping in several wonderful Nepalese towns and villages. All of these places, from Namche Bazaar to Gorak Shep are very tourist friendly. As a result, you will get to enjoy an open and comfortable Nepalese experience.

Once we reach the Everest base camp, you will get to see  the gateway that only the best climbers pass through on their way to the summit of the great mountain. After you’ve taken in the unique atmosphere of the camp, over several days, we will make our way back to Lukla. Along the return trek, you will get to enjoy an optional ascent of Kala Patthar. From the top of this peak, you will get to enjoy unrivaled views of Everest in all of its glory.

This trek, while not overtly technical, is nonetheless long and physically taxing. Altitude is a big factor on this trek. As a result, there will be rest days, which will help you get properly acclimatized. Moreover, participants should be in good physical condition.

To join us on this 17 day adventure to the Everest base camp, just send us a request. We know you’ll have an experience you will never forget.

We can also take you on an 18 day adventure around the Annapurna massif in the Himalayas of Nepal as well.
