Description

There are few places around the world that don’t need any introduction. And Mount Everest is one of them. The sheer presence of this colossal mountain, transports anyone that sees it into a peaceful place.

However, reaching it requires advanced skills and there’s a huge risk when climbing it. But, that shouldn’t discourage you. If you want to get the experience of climbing Everest, from a safer and more comfortable place, this trip is for you! You’ll get to admire its magnificence as close as you can, without reaching its summit. As we’ll trek across some of the most iconic places around the Khumbu Everest region in Nepal.

The trek will be challenging, yet incredibly rewarding. We will venture across 3 high passes:

  • Renjo pass (5,388m)

  • Chola pass (5,420m)

  • Kongma La Pass (5,535m)

And we will  arrive at the heart of the Khumbu valley, as well as the Everest Base Camp region. Then, we will get to see the absolutely most mesmerizing views of the Himalayas. Also, our adventure will take us around Sherpa country. So we’ll explore the intriguing region of the Khumbu valley, while we cross some of the tallest mountain passes on Earth!

Also, we’ll learn about the local culture. Since most of the staff on our expedition are experienced sherpas, they’ll offer a good insight into their lifestyle and homeland.

Moreover we’ll ascend Gokyo Ri (5,357m), Kala Pattar (5,545m) and of course Everest Base Camp (5,364m). Therefore, we will get the most amazing close-up views of Mt. Everest, and other equally impressive peaks like Lhotse, Nuptse and Makalu amongst others.

So if you want to join this wonderful trip please send me a request. I promise it will be an unforgettable adventure.

But, if you feel you are ready to tackle Everest, I also guide this 58 days Mount Everest expedition from Tibet.

I'm a certified NNMGA / UIAGM / IFMGA mountain guide from Nepal. I found my passion for the outdoors and climbing early in life when I was first contracted as a trekking guide for a Japanese team to Yala peak (5520m). Since then I have worked with many adventure tourism agencies and successfully summited Mt. Everest, Mt. Cho-Oyu, Mt. Ama Dablam , Mt. Baruntse and many other peaks in Nepal. I'm fluent in German and English which allowed me to guide in the Alps several times. I have a right temperament, I'm dedicated and I have a friendly approach to lead and help the climbing teams accomplish their goals.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
