##### When you think about the **Himalayas**, it is hard to single out a peak. Even though **Everest** is the most famous mountain in this range, there are many other ones that are equally majestic. And **Mount** **Ama Dablam (6812m)** is one of them. Join this 26 day expedition to reach the summit of one of the most stunning peaks in this region.

**Ama Dablam** stands at **6,812 meters** of height. And it lies in the heart of the **Khumbu Valley of Nepal**. Also it overlooks the **Sherpa villages** of **Pangboche** and **Thyangboche**, two charming and rich in cultural heritage towns on the trail to **Everest Base camp**. Thus, giving us the opportunity to unveil a wonderful place, and learn about the local culture.

Also known as _mother’s necklace_ for its unique form, **Ama Dablam** was first climbed in 1961 via the **South-Western Ridge**. This path has become the standard route. And it will be the one we take to reach the top of this magical mountain.

Although this is the most used route, it still poses a **significant climbing challenge**. It has technical sections of snow, as well as exposed route on ice. We’ll also encounter rock at relatively high altitude. However the sceneries we’ll get as we get closer to the top of **Ama Dablam** will be totally rewarding. We’ll get to see **Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu**, and **Sishapangma**, amongst other peaks.

Please note that due to the difficulty of expedition, in order to join it you must have **previous experience  with fixed ropes**. You should also be comfortable **climbing along exposed ridgelines**. **So if you do and wish to join it, send me a request. It will be an amazing experience in the Himalayas!**

##### Only 80 kilometers away from **Kathmandu, Nepal**, lies one of the most magnificent mountains in this region: **Mount Manaslu  (8,156m).**

Due to its unique formation, it is not a very **technical ascent**. However, there are some dangers along the way, from avalanches, to prone slopes, hidden crevasses, and constant snowfalls. Thus, this climb is **particularly demanding**.

So, we’ll follow all the rules necessary to **ensure your safety**. My team and I are ready to help you reach the **summit of Manaslu**!

We’ll depart from **Kathmandu**, after which, we’ll spend around 10 days reaching **Manaslu base camp (4,400m)**. Later, we’ll follow a route that will take us from **Base camp to Camp 1 (5,700m)**. There we’ll encounter sections with hypnotizing views of majestic glaciers and rock scrambles on moraine, as well as different types of terrain.

After that, when we climb from **C1 to C2** we’ll find longer patches of steep ice and snow, including a few vertical ice steps. But, in order to ensure our safety, we’ll use a route fixed with rope in any vertical or exposed sections.

Then, **Camp 2** will be at **6,400m**. Most climbers can reach it on their first attempt in about **3 to 6 hours**. Finally reaching **Camp 3 (6,900m)** will take us around **5-7 hours**, on a less steep route, with some short ice steps.

To conclude our ascent, we’ll climb another **5-7 hours** to reach **Camp 4**, where we’ll rest, eat, hydrate and prepare for the **last push**. This final part is **not technical**. But, it is **highly demanding** due to the altitude.

**Do you want to be a part of a great climb at Mount Shishapangma in Tibet?**

Join me in this 42-day expedition. **Mount Shishapangma** is one of the highest peaks of the world. It belongs to the **Himalaya’s eight thousands** and, although it is the lowest of them it’s the only one which is located entirely in **Tibet**.

For climbers already experienced in high-altitude climbing, reaching the summit of **Mount Shishapangma** involves minimal risk. Besides, it is an ideal starting point for those who are initiating the challenge of climbing at eight mile.

This expedition starts in the city of **Kathmandu (in Nepal)**. After a few days of travel, we will reach Shishapangma’s Base Camp and and have a couple days of acclimatization. Then, I’ll guide you through the Northwest Ridge (the normal route), the climbing route that will take us directly towards the Central Summit. Once there, there’ll be a final challenge: crossing a knife-edge ridge that joins the Central Summit to the south one.

The **Advanced Base Camp** (ABC) will be installed at 5540m, **Camp 1** at 6200m, **Camp 2** at 6700m and **Camp 3** at 7400m.

Climbing Mount Shishapangma in Tibet

##### There are few places around the world that don’t need any introduction. And **Mount Everest** is one of them. The sheer presence of this colossal mountain, transports anyone that sees it into a peaceful place.

However, reaching it requires advanced skills and there’s a huge risk when climbing it. But, that shouldn’t discourage you. If you want to get the experience of climbing **Everest**, from a safer and more comfortable place, this trip is for you! You’ll get to **admire its magnificence as close as you can**, without reaching its summit. As we’ll trek across some of the most iconic places around the **Khumbu Everest** region in **Nepal**.

The trek will be challenging, yet incredibly rewarding. We will venture across 3 high passes:

*   Renjo pass (5,388m)
    
*   Chola pass (5,420m)
    
*   Kongma La Pass (5,535m)
    

And we will  arrive at the heart of the **Khumbu valley**, as well as the **Everest Base Camp region**. Then, we will get to see the absolutely most mesmerizing views of the **Himalayas**. Also, our adventure will take us around **Sherpa country**. So we’ll explore the intriguing region of the **Khumbu valley**, while we cross some of the tallest mountain passes on Earth!

Also, we’ll learn about the **local culture**. Since most of the staff on our expedition are experienced sherpas, they’ll offer a good insight into their lifestyle and homeland.

Moreover we’ll ascend **Gokyo Ri (5,357m)**, **Kala Pattar (5,545m)** and of course **Everest Base Camp (5,364m)**. Therefore, we will get the most amazing close-up views of **Mt. Everest**, and other equally impressive peaks like **Lhotse**, **Nuptse** and **Makalu** amongst others.

We will begin our adventure flying into Lukla (2840m). Then, we’ll meet up and start a quick ascent to Phakding, where we’ll spend the night.

On day two, we will trek to the region’s main commercial center: Namche Bazaar (3440m).

We’ll rest in Namche Bazar. And we’ll use the time for acclimatization. So we can visit several interesting points such as the Tourist Visitor Center and museum, or the Everest View Hotel for wonderful views.

Day fourth will be an amazing day. We’ll begin early morning. Then we’ll trek to Thame (3820m).

Thame

As we are reaching higher altitudes, we’ll take more time for acclimatization in Thame. So we’ll explore Thame Gompa, a village that overlooks a mesmerizing valley. And it is the best site for the spring celebrations of the Thame Mani Rimdu festival.

The day will begin with a moderate trek to Lungden (4350m). Then we’ll have a lunch break in Marlung, another beautiful village in Thame Valley.

We’ll cross the Renjo La (5,340m) – Gokyo (4,790m) pass. So we will get the absolutely best views of Everest, Lhotse,Nuptse, Cho-Oyu, Makalu and Cholatse.

Mountain passes

Our day will begin with a trek to Gokyo Ri (5360m), from where you’ll get great views of the Himalayas. And the rest of the day will be free so we can rest.

We’ll trek to Dragnag (4700m), a small village south-east from Gokyo. Also, it is on the other side of the glacier. So we will get hypnotizing views of the region.

Dragnag

On this day we will trek across Cho La (5,330m)-Dzonglha (4,830m). And we will admire all the beauty from the pass that connects these two charming villages.

We’ll hike to Lobuche (4,910m). This trail is amazing, as it joins the main Everest trail.

Loubche

Finally we will reach Everest Base Camp (5,364m)! We’ll take some time to admire having reach this goal. And then we will trek back to Gorak Shep (5,140m). Gorakshep is an amazing place. As it is the highest settlement before the Everest Base Camp.

Everest Base Camp

We will hike up to the Kala Pattar (5,550m) viewpoint. So we will get stunning panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Pumori and Lobhuche. Finally we’ll trek back to Lobuche.

Kala Pattar

On this day we will reach the highest pass, Kongma La (5535m). Then, we’ll head to Chukung (4730mm).

Kongma La

We’ll begin the day with a trek to Pangboche (3,930m). After that we will trek downhill along the Imje Khola. And we will pass through Orso village.

Our day begins heading back to Namche Bazar. Due to its location we’ll get great views of the majestic Ama Dablam, Thamserku and Nuptse mountains.

Your schedule flight Lukla-Kathmandu will be set. And there will be a transfer to your hotel there.

At 6654 m, **Mera Peak** is the highest trekking peak in **Nepal**. It’s also a very popular trail because of the outstanding views of the Himalaya giants you can get from its summit.

This is a 24-day trip designed for you to experience a typical expedition, including guides, cook and porters. I strongly recommend it for climbers who are planning to reach higher peaks in Himalaya in the future. Even though **Mera Peak** is considered an easy trekking peak, the activity demands a hard physical effort due to its altitude.

One of the highlights of this adventure is the chance to admire some of the highest mountains in Himalaya: from the summit of Mera Peak you’ll be able to see **Kanchenjunga, Chamlang, Makalu** and **Baruntse** in the east, and **Everest, Lhotse** and **Nuptse** on the north.

Another exciting moment of the trip is crossing **Amphu Laptsa**, a pass at 5845m. It is important to mention that this involves basic mountaineering techniques like glacier travels and rappelling, what makes it a technical challenge.

**ARRIVAL**

**Day 1.** Arrival at Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel. **Day 2.** Stay in the city for permit processing and preparations. **Day 3.** Flight to Lukla (2860m). Beginning of the trip: trek to Puiyan, a camp at 2730m.

**TREKKING TO KHARE, BASE CAMP AT 5000m** 

**Day 4.** We leave Puiyan and trek to Pangom (3286m). **Day 5**. Trek to Najing Dingma (3200m). **Day 6.** We continue our trek to Cholemo Kharka (3800m). **Day 7.** Trek to Khola Kharka.

**Day 8.** We trek to Majhang khola. **Day 9**. We continue trekking towards Kothe (3500m). **Day 10.** Trek to Tagnag (4300m). **Day 11.** We trek to Khare, which is Mera Peak base camp at 5000m.

**REACHING MERA PEAK SUMMIT**

**Day 12.** We stay at Khare for acclimatization. **Day 13.** Arrival to High Camp (5800m). **Day 14.** We reach Mera Peak summit (6654m) and then trek to Khongmidingma. **Day 15.** This day is reserved for climbing.

**AMPHU LAPTSA PASS**

**Day 16.** We trek towards Seto Pokhari, a camp at 5000m. **Day 17.** Trek to Amphu Laptsa base camp. **Day 18.** We cross Amphu Laptsa pass (5839m) and then trek to Chukung.

**RETURN TO LUKLA** 

**Day 19.** Trek to Deboche. **Day 20.** Continue trek to Namche. **Day 21.** Arrive to Lukla.

**END OF THE TRIP**

**Day 22.** Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel. **Day 23.** Spend day in Kathmandu. **Day 24.** Departure flight.

Guided Mera Peak trek in Nepal

**By joining this 42-day guided expedition in Tibet, you’ll have the chance to experience a wonderful adventure in some of the most beautiful landscapes on earth.** Our climbing route to reach the summit of Mount Cho Oyu, will be its Northwestern ridge.

**Mount Cho Oyu** is 8.201 meters high. It is the 6th highest mountain of the world. Moreover, the peak is located at the border of Nepal and Tibet, in the heart of the **Greater Himalaya mountain range**.

The northwest ridge is the classic climbing route and it’s very accessible. Of course it has difficult sections but if it is compared with other 8.000-meter summits, it’s really easier.

Despite of its height, **Mount Cho Oyu** is perfect for climbers who want to improve their mountaineering skills. It is also a great option to get prepared for a bigger objective in the future: Mount Everest for example.

*   **DAY 1:** After arrival in **Kathmandu** you’ll be transferred to your hotel.
    
*   **DAYS 2 AND 3:**  We’ll do different administrative procedures in order to get the the papers of the Tibetan visa.
    
*   **DAY 4:** Once we fly to Lhasa, we’ll stay there in a hotel for the night.
    
*   **DAY 5:** We spend the day in Lhasa and visit the wonders of this iconic city.
    
*   **DAY 6:** Move to Shigatse by car and spend the night in a hotel.
    
*   **DAY 7:** On day 7, we will go to Shegar (4.350m) and spend the night there, in a hotel.
    
*   **DAY 8:** We’ll drive to **Mount Cho Oyu** **base camp** at 4.900 meters high.
    
*   **DAYS 9 AND 10:** These days will be dedicated to acclimatization and to get our backpacks ready.
    
*   **DAY 11:** Day of hiking up the intermediate campsite, at 5.400 meters high.
    
*   **DAY 12:** Hike up to the advanced base camp at 5.600 meters high.
    
*   **DAYS 13 TO 36:** During this period of 23 days we will train, acclimatize and when the weather permits it, try to summit Mount Cho Oyu.
    
*   **DAY 37:** We’ll hike down to the base camp and move to Shegar/Thingri by car.
    
*   **DAY 38:** After being transferred to Shigatse, we will spend the night there in a hotel.
    
*   **DAY 39:** We’ll keep driving to Lhasa. From there, a transfer will take us to the lodge.
    
*   **DAY 40:** Return to Kathmandu.
    
*   **DAY 41:** Resting day in Kathmandu.
    
*   **DAY 42:** Go back home or continue visiting this amazing region.

Mount Cho Oyu: guided Tibetan expedition

I invite you to a once for a lifetime experience: **a 58-day Mount Everest expedition**. At the border of Nepal and Tibet lies **Mount Everest (8848 m)**, the world’s highest peak and one of the most extreme challenges for climbers around the globe.

Although you can climb this Himalaya giant from both sides, I propose doing it from the **Tibetan side** because it’s relatively easier and less expensive. Our climbing route will be the **North Ridge**, which I consider a safe route as we can avoid the dangerous ice fall on the south of the mountain.

It’s worth mentioning I count with an incredible team, including Sherpa, cooks, doctor and guides. ##### ITINERARY

**Days 1 to 5: Kathmandu – Lhasa**

The first day, you’ll arrive at **Kathmandu** (Nepal) and be transferred to your hotel. You’ll stay at the Nepali capital for two days during Tibet visa processing. The fourth day, you’ll fly from Kathmandu to Gonggor airport in **Lhasa** (Tibet) (3650m-11680ft). You’ll stay in a hotel. On day 5, we’ll take you sightseeing in Lhasa. After that, we’ll keep our travel towards Everest base camp.

**Days 6-8: on the way to Everest Base Camp**

On day 6 we’ll drive you to **Shigatse** (3900m-12480ft). You will stay in a hotel there. The following day, we’ll travel to **Thingri** (4350m-14,268ft) and spend the night at a guest house. We’ll arrive to **Everest Base Camp** (5200m-17,056ft) on day 8.

**Days 9 to 11: getting ready**

We’ll stay at base camp to acclimatize and prepare the loads to take to the Advanced Base Camp, which is 22km away.

**Days 12-13: trek to Advanced Base Camp**

On day 12 we’ll trek to the **Intermediate Camp** (6200m-20,336ft). The following day, we’ll continue trekking to **Advanced Base Camp** **(ABC)** (6400m-20,992ft). During this treks we’ll have yak support. ABC is right under the shadow of **Changtse**, so we’ll enjoy a spectacular view of the whole route.

**Days 14-51: Summit of Mount Everest**

After leaving ABC, the route goes up East Rongbuk glacier to the nerve of the glacier and then up snow slopes to the North Col at 7,000m. There, we’ll find **Camp 1**. Then, we’ll continue our way through a long snow slope, until we reach **Camp 2** on a snow ledge at 7,500m.

The route from Camp 2 to **Camp 3** is up a series of rock and shingle steps, a very easy terrain to walk on, although it’s usually very windy. Our last camp will be **Camp 4,** at 8,300m. To get there, we’ll traverse across rock steps and snow slopes.

We’ll head to the summit from Camp 4, going up through a mix of rock and snow steps. We must be careful in this part, as the steps may be quite steep in places. Across the **First Step** (8500m) there will be fixed ropes. The **Second Step** (8580 m) goes through a series of small ledges covered with snow until we arrive to the famous ladder with fixed ropes. Then we continue towards the **Third Step** at 8690m. There’s also fixed rope in this part, followed by a short section of corniced ridge that will lead us to the summit.

**Day 52: the return**

We’ll go back from Advanced Base Camp to Base Camp

**Days 53 to 58: going back to Kathmandu**

At the end of our Mount Everest expedition, we’ll drive again towards Shegar Thingri, then continue to Shigatse and finally arrive to Lhasa, where we’ll fly to Kathmandu. During day 57 you’ll stay at Kathmandu and after that, fly to your final destination.

##### **During 17 days we’ll discover the secrets of Rolwaling Valley via its most famous route, the Tashi Lapcha**.

**Tashi Lapcha** is a trekking trail located in the middle of two Himalayan mountains. One of them is the Gaurishankar with a dominant height of 7.134 meters.

During the **Tashi Lapcha route** you will also have the opportunity of admiring many other important peaks. Some of them are the Cheki Go, the Ramdung, Tsobuche or Mount Khang Nachugo.

The Tashi Lapcha trekking route includes the crossing of the famous **Tashi Lapcha Pass** at 5.755 meters. It connects the areas of Rolwaling valley to the Khumbu valley. What’s more, you will have the big opportunity of climbing the **Pachhermo summit**, a dream for any climber.

*   **DAY 1:** Arrival to Kathmandu. Transfer to the hotel.
    
*   **DAY 2:** Day dedicated to permits and preparations in Kathmandu.
    
*   **DAY 3:** We move to Gongur by bus which (approx. 120 kilometers).
    
*   **DAY 4:** First trekking day at 2.090 meters, Simigaun.
    
*   **DAY 5:** Trek to Dongang (at 2800 meters).
    
*   **DAY 6:** Trek to Beding.
    
*   **DAY 7:** 4.100-Meter Trekking day to Na.
    
*   **DAY 8:**Resting day.
    
*   **DAY 9:** Chugima.
    
*   **DAY 10:** Hike to Thagar Glacier at 4.735 meters.
    
*   **DAY 11:** Tashi Laptsa Pass and night camp in Tashiphuk.
    
*   **DAY 12:** Pachhermo Summit Day and night a the campsite of Ngole.
    
*   **DAY 13:** Trekking day from Ngole to Thame.
    
*   **DAY 14:** Hike to Lukla.
    
*   **DAY 15:** We’ll take the flight from Lukla to Kathmandu. Then, transfer to the hotel.
    
*   **DAY 16:** Rest day in Kathmandu.
    
*   **DAY 17:** Departure. Back home. End of the program.
