In the Nepalese Himalayas and at an altitude of 8,163 metres (26,781 ft) above sea level, Manaslu is the eighth highest mountain in the world. During this expedition, you will enjoy the spectacular views of Mt. Annapurna (8,091 m/26,545 ft),Mt. Dhaualgiri (8,167 m/26,795 ft) and 18 other amazing mountains, surrounded by stunning landscapes and lush valleys.

Our adventure will start in Kathmandu where we’ll discover its religious and cultural treasures. From there, we’ll transfer by bus to the city of Gorkha and start ascending from village to village. Then, during the days to come, we’ll walk 5 hours per day until we reach the Mt. Manaslu base camp located at 4,850 m (15,912 ft).

Manaslu is a challenging mountain to climb. Every day we’ll walk 5 to 7 hours and along the way, we’ll set up 4 camps until we reach the top. During this ascent, climbers will encounter a few stretches of steep climbing, crevasses and snow and ice climbing as well. For a more detailed description of the trip, take a look at the itinerary below!

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
