Follow me on this 4-day adventure to the Monte Rosa Massif in the Pennine Alps. Learn the mountaineering basics and climb in a fantastic alpine setting!
Situated between Italy and Switzerland, Monte Rosa Massif reaches an altitude of 4,634 meters and features several 4,000-meter summits making it a very popular destination for mountaineers. On this opportunity, I invite you to discover some of these ascents and improve your mountaineering abilities.
On this course, I’ll teach you about progression, safety, climbing in the snow and different techniques. If you’re a beginner with some prior experience, you’ll learn the activity’s basic concepts. If you’re an advanced participant, however, you’ll find a great place to improve your skills and prepare for future climbs. In any case, you’ll benefit from this experience.
As for the itinerary, each day of the program we’ll depart from Gnifetti Hut, our base camp in the Aosta Valley at 3,611 meters above sea level. The following are some of the mountains that we may explore: Piramide Vincent (4,215 meters), Balmenhorn (4,167 meters), Corno Nero (4,322 meters), Ludwigshöhe (4,341 meters), Punta Parrot (4,432 meters), Punta Zumstein (4,563 meters) and Punta Giordani (4,046 meters), among others.
Please, keep in mind that it’s important for this trip to have some prior mountaineering experience and a good level of fitness. Of course, I will be happy to help you and show you the way!
So, do you think this program would suit you? Then don’t hesitate to send the request to book your place. It will be a pleasure for me to be your guide in the stunning Monte Rosa Massif!
For a less challenging climb in Switzerland, check out the program I offer to climb the Weissmies mountain!
