Have you ever tried multi-pitch climbing? Do you want to experience the passion for heights with a mountain guide?

Around Arco, in northern Italy, there are hundreds of multi-pitch routes of all difficulties. This is not a fixed trip, but rather one that I can adapt to your level, whatever it is! The Sarca Valley offers great possibilities for lots of fun and adventure.

Situated in the Sarca Valley, in the Trentino-Alto Adige region at the north of Italy, Arco is settled on the top of sheer limestone cliffs. It offers a huge adventure area for rock climbers with climbing spots for everyone: single pitch sports routes or long multi-pitch routes, all perfectly cleaned and bolted.

We can head up to different climbing routes, depending on the weather and your wishes. Muro dell’Asino, for example, is perfectly suited for beginners and those wishing to make their first leading steps. Placche di Baone is a band of limestone that lies at the south side base of Monte Baone and offers mainly grip-based climbing with a spectacular view of Arco and Lake Garda.

Or, you can try something more challenging like the Spigolo Nascosto route in Santa Massenza. It is a seven pitches climbing line with some bolts but mainly threads and trees as protections.

The duration of the trip depends on the route you choose.

So, are you ready you enjoy this alluring experience? Do not hesitate to book this trip!

    About the Guide

Certified mountain and ski guide and is directing since 15 years the Mountain School Mmove (former Friends of Arco). In the past, his passion had driven him for weeks to the solitude of the Alps, of Patagonia, or of the icy heights of the Karakorum to climb famous walls and peaks and open up new routes.

Today his priorities have moved. He wants to share his enthusiasm for the mountains - while working with his guests and in his spare time with his sons, as his father has once done with him. Mauro Girardi is very proud on its enthusiastic and highly qualified team of local Mountain-and Ski Guides, Hiking Guides and office employees. Mmove is not just a mountain school, but is a steadily growing circle of friends, who would like to realize great experiences. We like to Mmove it !!

Mmove is the only mountain school in the Alto Garda region with a guaranteed weekly program and activities for all tastes and the whole family.

The team is formed by 8 IFMGA/UIAGM Guides, so if Mauro is not available, one of the other highly qualified members of the team will be the guide.

What People are Saying about Mauro Girardi

My son and I were planning a trip to climb in Arvo, Italy and wanted a good start to our trip so we booked a guide with, and it was the best thing we did. Lupe and the staff handled every inquire we had, were really professional then ended up hooking us up with MMove based in Arco. We booked a private guide for 3 days of rock climbing and we boosted our grades in those days. Our guide Matteo was bloody awesome, amazing guide who just gets that little bit more out of your. Our grades jumped thanks to Matteo. Day 1 was sport climbing to check what we could do, single pitches and going hard. The afternoon was a multi pitch. Then for day 2 and 3 we pumped out multi pitch after multi pitch. Best 3 days of climbing in a long time. My Son went from grade 15/16 to leading 23\'s. This 3 days started our trip and gave us the confidence to go on climbing for another 2 weeks. Thanks guys for an amazing wicked time We will be back soon
