Description

Join me on this half-day hike to Martinique and visit a paradise on Earth.

Martinique is a French island located in the Caribbean Sea. Due to its hiking trails, it is the perfect place for a hiking adventure. One of the main points of interest in Martinique is the wide variety of landscapes to admire.

First of all, we will visit a dry forest and appreciate the cactus surrounding the savannah by the sea. After that, we’ll see some typical vegetation of the area and admire from the top of a cliff, the fantastic point where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Caribbean Sea. Finally, we’ll explore a wild coconut sand beach.

After the hike, you will have the possibility of swimming in one the beautiful beaches. If you want, a picnic lunch as well as the transportation are available with some extra charge. This tour is open to everyone during the whole year.

We thoroughly enjoyed our hike in the rain forest of Martinique! We'd expected the enjoy the scenery, mostly, but got so much more than that. Fabrice kept us fascinated with the botany of the forest, the history of Martinique, as well as the scenery (of course!). And Fabrice did a great job of setting a pace that was appropriate for everybody's comfort level on the sometimes steep, sometimes slippery trail.
