Description

Imagine landing on a pristine powder white slope without footprints or marks, an immaculate canvas in the middle of the Andes. Wouldn’t you like to ski or snowboard down that? On our heliskiing day trips with base in the Patagonia town of Cholila, we give you a unique chance to do so. And while you’re at it, you also get to discover the stunning Andes mountain range in South America.

For starters, you will need to get to Cholila. To do so, you will need to drive either 90 minutes from Esquel or approximately 3 hours from Bariloche airport. Once you arrive we will have a short trip briefing and safety check, and then we will set out on our heliski excursion. We will spend the whole day enjoying the peaks and glaciers of the Andes and we will also have a delicious gourmet lunch in a luxurious mountain lodge!

Because we will be out skiing or snowboarding all day, you will need a good level of fitness. Also, prior experience is preferable. Additionally, you will need to take skiing equipment into consideration, although we can provide rental options if you need. Throughout the whole excursion we will be there to help and guide you. Furthermore, as our itinerary is flexible, we can take into account your preferences, needs and skiing goals when we choose the landing locations.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice.
