Description

The tour of Monte Viso is a unique experience in the Western Alps. Let me show you the way to this incredible peak!

Monte Viso (3841 m) is the highest peak in the Cottian Alps, which are a mountain range located in the border between northwestern Italy and northeastern France. This peak lies on the Italian side and it's famous for its pyramid-like shape  and because it's 500 meters higher than all its surrounding peaks, so it can be seen from everywhere around.

So this program is one of the most spectacular high-altitude hikes in the region. You will have the opportunity to discover this mythical Italian summit from its different faces.

During 4 days, we'll traverse a mineral environment with some lunar views. We'll sleep in a different mountain hut every night, so you'll experience the traditional Italian mountaineering atmosphere. This way you'll be able to enjoy the amazing scenery that surrounds this peaks from all its faces!

I greatly recommend this hike that will not leave you indifferent.

Do you find this hiking trip interesting? Then please send me a request! I will be very happy to guide you on this beautiful traverse around Monte Viso for 4 days.

And I also offer a 2-day trip to reach the top of this mythical summit that I love.

Successful summit to the top of Matterhorn! Managed to get a clear day which was lucky. Views and pictures were incredible. The guide Franchini was a top guy. His experience put me at ease having climbed Lhotse in the past. Very knowledgeable. He prioritised safety the whole time. Me being English and him Italian. We found it hard to understand each other occasionally. Which I felt could be very frustrating for him at times. I didn’t take this personally as I just tried to follow his instructions as best as I could. Considering our differences we always laughed in the end. I would consider him a friend now. Silvia was also helpful for preparation. Much appreciated.

We've got an amazing accent to the beautiful place. Team was very proactive to identify that weather would be not so well at the day we planned originlly and suggester to move it earlier or later one day. I took an option to stay one day longer and the weather vaw beautiful, conditions were great. Thanks a lot to the team and our guide Livio!
