Description

Do you dream of ice climbing? Let’s try it together for a weekend, with an initiation climb in the Ecrins Massif?

During this trip, the goal is to teach you the basic techniques that will allow you to gain autonomy on easy routes.

On the first day, we will have different workshops. The following day we take a multi-pitch route, applying the techniques that we just learnt.

Of course I can adapt this 2-day program to suit your wishes and the time you have available.

We can choose from many different cool sites! From simple cascades of one rope length to very engaged walls with international reputation. For example, we can go to Queyras with Ceillac and Aiguilles, Freissinières, Le Fournel, Cervières or La Grave.

Depending on the program and requests, I will take up to 4 people. If you are a larger group, I will ask my friend Lionel, UIAGM high mountain guide as well, to join us.

Additionally, I organise trips for more experienced climbers that wish to improve their skills.

If you are in the Ecrins Massif region for many days, we can consider combining several winter activities. For example, off-piste ski in a surrounding station, or ski touring.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge.
