Situated in the very northeastern corner of the Slovenian Julian Alps, Čisti vrh is the perfect mountain peak for a ski touring destination!
Serving as the perfect challenge for intermediate-level ski tourers, Čisti vrh also provides fantastic views out over various iconic Slovenian peaks from its summit, including Triglav, Kanjavec, Prisojnik and Bavški grintavec.
Starting from the Trenta valley, just above the village of Vrsnik, we will ascend up the peak via a snowy macadam road – mostly composed of stones and gravel. As we go, we'll occasionally pass through stunning alpine forest scenery native to this incredible part of the world.
Finally, the trees will begin to thin and we will arrive at a snowy plateau. From here, it's just a short ascent before we arrive at the summit.
After taking in the incredible views, the fun part of the trip begins. We will begin out descent along some of the same trails until we arrive back in the Trenta valley and return to the trailhead.
So what are you waiting for? Book now for this fun and scenic half-day ski tour to the summit of Čisti vrh and back!

I am an aspirant IFMGA mountain guide, born in 1987, from Vuhred, now living in Ljubljana, Slovenia. I have been discovering mountains from an early age. I started climbing at the age of 15 and now it has become a way of life.
During my active years as an alpinist, I have been on four expeditions to the Andes, Himalaya and China and I was nominated for the Piolet d’or for the ascent to Xulian Feng in China.
I like all types of alpine activities such as alpine climbing, sport climbing, ski touring, etc. Overall I like to spend my time in the mountains. That is why I decided I not only want to climb for myself, but to guide other people, so they can experience what I have until now.
My mission as a mountain guide is to provide you the safest way to discover mountains, so that you can explore the vertical world in a different way. I will guide you to more or less populated mountain trails and climbing routes.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
