Description

Follow me to the impressive La Meije, a stunning mountain in the Spanish Pyrenees. Over the course of 3 days, we’ll ascend this mountain in the Ecrins with stunning views and cozy mountain refuges.

La Meije, the Queen of the Ecrins, overlooks the village of La Grave and is a well-known mountaineering and ski center, especially for its off-piste and extreme skiing options. It was the last peak in the Ecrins to be reached and the whole route is full of historic references. Our route will take us to Promontoire and a traverse through its edges with stunning views while we enjoy staying at the local mountain refuges.

This trip is recommended for mountaineers with experience in alpine terrains and ascents with boots. It is important that you are in good physical shape. This is not an excessively difficult route, but challenging enough to require some experience and a good fitness level.

Make sure to review the list of items needed for the trip. I can also help you if you have any doubts while packing.

No need to think it over. Just book your trip. You won’t regret it!

Fantastic climb! We were the only people climbing the normal route so we had the mountain to ourselves. Fede was great, highly professional, and he assessed the risks very well. Highly recommended!
