This 16-day trekking tour around the Langtang area, via the Ganja la Pass (5,122 m), is a great way to discover Nepal and its natural wonders. The itinerary is completed with visits to different Tibetan villages, making it a perfect opportunity to learn about the local culture and religious traditions.
To begin this program, we will meet you at the Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport. Next day, we will tour around Kathmandu’s World Heritage Sites, as well as get ready for the itinerary ahead.
The trekking itinerary begins at Sybru Bensi and concludes in Melamchi Bazaar. In between, we will visit different Tibetan and Sherpa villages like Kyangjin Gompa (3,800 m), Ngegang (4,520 m), Sermathang (2,620 m) and Melamchi Pul (850 m).
One of the key highlights of this itinerary is the views of the Langtang valley and the peaks in the Langtang range from the beautiful Tserko Ri (5,00o m). Some of the peaks you will have unique views of from here are Dorje Larpa (6,990m), Langtang Ri (6,370m), Langtang Lirung (7,245m) and Yala Peak (5,520m).
Along the itinerary, we will spend the nights in guesthouses and lodges in these traditional villages.
