Description

Situated in the southern reaches of the stunning Annapurna Region, the Mardi Himal Trek is a hidden gem in Nepal!

The trekking route was only recently opened and provides holiday goers who do not have a whole lot of time to spend in the country with the opportunity to see some of Nepal's incredible landscapes and get some phenomenal views of iconic Himalayan peaks too.

Over the course of the 10-day journey, trekkers will arrive in Kathmandu before transferring to the idyllic lakeside city of Pokhara and embarking on their wilderness adventure.

In the Annapurna Conservation Area, trekkers will hike through thick forests composed of oak, maple and rhododendron trees, before ascending above the tree line and continuing over grassy ridges and through rolling pastures.

The highlight of the trip is when the trekkers arrive at the Upper Viewpoint at 4200 meters. Here, they will get to enjoy panoramic views that lookout over Mardi Himal (5587m), Annapurna I (8091m), Annapurna South (7219m), Hiunchuli (6441m), Baraha Shikhar (Mt. Fang) (7647m), Tent Peak (5695m), Singhachuli (6501m), Machapuchhre (6993m).

From here, trekkers will begin the descent and pass through a traditional village – where they will get the chance to meet the people and learn about their culture – before returning to Pokhara and then Kathmandu.

So what are you waiting for? Book now for this unforgettably fun, scenic and exciting 10-day Mardi Himal Trek through the Annapurna Region!

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
