Monte Conero is a mountain in the Adriatic Sea south of the city of Ancona, in Central Italy. On this 1-day program, I would like to invite you to explore this beautiful mountain and discover its incredible views and natural areas. If you love hiking through the wilderness, you can’t miss this chance!
Our traverse will begin in Fonte d’Olio and we’ll follow a route across the mountain that will lead us through different beautiful natural spots. We’ll go to Pian Grande and Piani di Ragetti and contemplate spectacular panoramic views from natural balconies. Also, we’ll visit incredible caves, such as Grotte Romane and Grotta Mortarolo, and observe fantastic geological formations.
On the traverse, we’ll follow the Belvedere Nord route to the summit and share lunch in the middle of the mountain. Then, we’ll continue across Belvedere Sud and reach Passo del Lupo from where we’ll admire the contrast of the blue sea and the white rocks. In addition, we’ll have the chance to visit the Badi di San Pietro on the hike.
Please, keep in mind that this excursion has a medium level of difficulty and that we’ll face an elevation gain of 470 meters. Therefore, it’s important to have a good level of fitness for this trip.
So, are you ready for this adventure in the gorgeous Monte Conero? Then all you have to do is send the request to book your place. It will be a pleasure for me to be your guide on this traverse.

I am a Hiking Guide and a National/International Tour Leader authorized by the Marche Region in Italy.
After travelling and living in Australia for eight years, I returned to live in Ancona, where I was born and raised. I consider this land a very “special” place and it is my passion to show my land to visitors.
I love working outdoors in contact with nature, art and people. I love my work and consider myself a cheerful and dynamic person who easily adapts to new situations and my client's needs and expectations.
Passionate about history, nature, culture (food & wine), I spend my free time studying wild plants and their usage, ancient legends and history as well as visiting new places to create new possible tours to offer.
I work very often with English speakers. My Mission is to deliver a “genuine experience” that will connect you to the land & culture of this magnificent place.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
