Description

The Monte Rosa massif is an enormous collection of peaks that stands tall on the border between Italy and Switzerland.

Situated in a place of pride for 2 nations, Monte Rosa is a magnificent massif fit for admiring and especially climbing.

For 4 days, I would like to take you to several fantastic spots on the massif. And on those spots, you will get to enjoy some great climbs. Each day on this trip will be different. As a result, you will get a wonderfully varied experience.

The trip will begin at the Gressoney ski lift parking lot in the beautiful Aosta valley. We will take the ski lift up to the Indred station (3,275m). From there, we will make our way to the Gnifetti hut (3,647m), where we will spend the night. On the second day of the trip, we will make our way across a glacier and ascend the Vincent Pyramid (4,215m) before returning to the Gnifetti hut for the night. For day three, we will venture to the summit of Zumstein Spitze (4,563m) and then go to the beautiful Margherita hut (4,554m) for the night. And on the final day of the trip, we will make our way down the glacier to Indred and then take the ski lift back to Gressoney.

It is important that participants on this trip are in good physical condition.

If you want to join me on this 4 day mountaineering adventure on the Monte Rosa massif, just send me a request. I know you’ll have a great time.

I also offer a 5 day via ferrata tour in the sensational Brenta Dolomites in Italy.

Mountain Guide

Alpinist, Mountain Guide and Ski Instructor.

I started my alpinist career after several years of competitive alpine ski racing. I discovered that the ‘true mountain’ was what I was looking for and it was the place I felt at home. So I started to explore it in all its forms
and in all its seasons: rock climbing, ice climbing, free ride, big wall and international expeditions outside of Europe.

The place I live offers a variety of terrains for a multitude of alpine activities – in fact I first started climbing the mountains at my front door, Gruppo Brenta and Presanella, then moved further afield to Trentino and the Alps.
My first international expedition outside of Europe was in Patagonia in 2012. Since then, I have tried to organize an international expedition every year in places where I can be rewarded by the alpinist activities, adventure and culture.

Exploring remote places offers me the chance to experience the one thing I cherish the most: living the adventure - I do not seek difficult routes less, but the exploring more. The mountain is a place where I can grow in my mind and soul. Because of it, doesn’t matter if I’m alone, with friends or guests, I try to keep the mountain’s spirit intact.

This is my habitat, I feel good in the mountains. This is my life: simple, nature, and almost a bit repetitive, and I really like it this way!

The mountains are not just my passion, they are also my ground of work: I am a Mountain Guide and I work all around the world. My primary base is
Madonna di Campiglio (Trento, Italy) and the Dolomites, but often, I work in Chamonix Mt. Blanc, and in all the Alps. I like travel by myself but also with my guests, for this, I organize travels and expeditions in all the world, expecially in Patagonia, Andes, Perù, Alaska, Himalaya, China and Africa.

Please, get in touch with me if you are interested for some activity in the mountains, I can do for you, a specific training program, and we can organize togheter your holiday and yours dreams.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
