Highlights

  • Enjoy a 2-day climb to the summit of Mount Kinabalu.

  • Feel the thrill of the Torq Via Ferrata.

  • Spend a night in the comfortable Pendant Hut.

The only thing better than climbing a majestic peak like Mount Kinabalu (4,095m) is to also walk along the thrilling Torq Via Ferrata during the same expedition. And, on this 2-day trip, that is exactly what you will get to do.

Our trip will begin at your hotel lobby, where we will pick you up. After that, we will travel for approximately 2 hours to the Kinabalu park. Once we reach the park, we will register and then make our way to the Timpohon Gate (1,892m). From the gate, we will climb for approximately 4 to 6 hours to the Pendant Hut, where we will be spending the night. We will also have a via ferrata safety briefing as well.

On the second day of the trip, we will wake up at approximately 1:30 am. After that, we will climb to the summit of Kinabalu.  After you’ve enjoyed the sunrise from the summit, we will descend to the Sayat Sayat hut (3,668m). This is where you will get to enjoy the trills of the Torq Via Ferrata!

After the via ferrata, we will return to the Pendant Hut, where you can enjoy some much needed breakfast. We will then head back to the Timpohon Gate before making the trip back to your hotel.

Participants on this trip should be in good physical condition.

Are you looking for some great adventure? Are you planning on visiting Borneo? If so, you’ll love this 2-day trip that will not only take you to the summit of Mount Kinabalu, but also let you walk along the Torq Via Ferrata. To join us, please send a request.
