Description

Are you looking for a thrilling winter adventure in the Pyrenees? Then I have the perfect tour for you: join me for one or several mountaineering ascents to Peña Telera, Taillon, Aspe or Monte Perdido!

The Pyrenees are a group of mountains  in southwest Europe that form a natural border between Spain and France. Stretching for about 490 km, and with more than a hundred over-3000m summits, this alpine region is a perfect destination for mountaineering.

This trip is your opportunity to spend one or several days climbing the North Faces of the Navarran, the Aragonese and the French sides of this mountain chain. These are our options:

Peña Telera (2,764m): Ascent to its summit by the Gran Diagonal, a popular and long route covered with snow.

Aspe (2,645m): The difficulty of its North Face route depends on the weather and the snow conditions.

Taillon (3,144m): Ice climbing and snow ascent on the west side of this mountain in the heart of the Pyrenees.

Monte Perdido (3355m): Glacier climbing to the top of the third highest summit of the Pyrenees, by its North Face.

Keep in mind that attempting these summits requires some previous experience in winter ascents (using crampons and ice axe) and a good fitness level.

So, are you up for amazing mountaineering ascents in the Pyrenees? Then contact me and choose one or several spots!

I also offer ski touring adventures in this same mountain range. Check them out here!

Mountain Guide

AEGM Mountain Guide from Spain

Passionate for mountains since I was a kid, at 14 I started climbing in Atxarte (Vizcaya) walls, thanks to some friends. Later I discovered other activities such as canyoning, skiing and ice climbing, which allowed me to enjoy mountains both in summer and in winter.

I travelled around Europe, USA, India, Peru, Marruecos, among others, with the excuse of climbing some peak, wall, or doing some canyoning.

I've been a member of the 'Young Alpinists Technification Team' of the Basque Mountain Federation, and after gaining experience in all mountain disciplines I left behind my job as electronic technician to become a guide in order to pass on my passion and knowledge to others.
