Multi-pitch Rock Climbing, South Japan Alps, 2 days

The Japan Alps are a glorious collection of peaks that run through the country’s main island of Honshu. And on this 2 day trip, I would like to take you on a fun, as well as educational, rock climbing adventure in the southern section of the mountains.

Your adventure will begin at the Nirasaki Station on the JR Chuo Line. From there, we will make our way into the southern Japan Alps. There are a number of fantastic climbing routes that you can choose from in the mountains. However, on this trip, our focus will be the Kaikoma A Franke Red Spider Route. This route will give you a great opportunity to scale a beautiful granite wall.

Enjoyable, and at times challenging, this climbing adventure will also present you with an opportunity to learn several techniques and skills that are crucial for safe and successful climbing. I will do my best to answer any questions you may have. I will also offer you advice and tips whenever I see an opportunity to do so. Thus ensuring that you have the best time possible, not just on this trip in the Japan Alps, but in future rock climbing trips you may take.
