  • Get the most breathtaking views of Huascarán and other impressive peaks

  • Discover beautiful spots and enchanting villages

Nevado Pisco (5,752 m) is one of the most magnificent peaks in the Cordillera Blanca, Peru. Only 60 kilometers north of the town of Huaraz, this colossal mountain awaits for you. Stand at its summit and get the most breathtaking views of the region.

This marvellous peak used to be an easy climb. But, the primary route melted considerably, changing the dynamics of the ascent and making it more challenging. Thus, it is the perfect ascent if you are looking for new challenges and of course, stunning sceneries, including views of Alpamayo, Artesonraju, Chopicalqui and Huascarán.

Reaching the top of Pisco will involve mostly walking on snow slopes that reach up to 35º. However, there’s a short section of around 100 meters of steep ice, along with other patches that will require the use of ropes and other technical equipment. We will ascend using the SW Rdige route.

Participants must have a good fitness level, as there will be parts that will be difficult to reach. But the views we’ll get from the top, make it totally worth it!

Besides, I will be there with you throughout the whole journey, making sure you are safe, while having a great time. You’ll only have to worry about carrying your personal climbing gear and taking in the mesmerizing views.

So, if you are up for this adventure, just request to book this trip, and let me take care of the rest. I promise it will be an amazing adventure, you won’t be able to forget.

I also guide this 4-day Santa Cruz Classic Trek in the Cordillera Blanca if you are looking for an easier trip.

Day 2: Ascend to the Moraine

Day 3: Summit attempt and back to base camp
