With it’s fjords, mountains and northern lights, Norway is a magical place to do splitboarding. Follow me on this Norwegian Haute Route 5 day splitboarding trip and discover this amazing winter paradise!

This journey will take us into heart of the Jotunheimen National Park, which is located in the southern region of Norway. Covering approximately 3,500 square kilometers, this great mountainous area features waterfalls, rivers, lakes, glaciers and valleys.

Our meeting point will be in Gjendesheim and from here, we’ll head straight into the fantastic Norwegian world of ice, snow and glaciers. Furthermore, during this 5-day trip and surrounded by the most spectacular landscapes, skiers and splitboarders will go up a few mountains and may even ascend the second highest mountain in Norway, the Glittertind (2465 m). 

Regarding our accommodation, we’ll be staying in the different mountain huts we find along the way. After a long day of splitboarding, nothing better than to rest and relax while discovering the unique norwegian cuisine.
