Description

Bariloche is located in Patagonia, Argentina in the Southern Andes. Winter sport lovers from all over the world visit this region every year. On this trip you will enjoy an awesome ski touring day under expert guidance. Come join me!

The Andes, in South America, is the longest continental mountain range in the world. It stretches around 7,000 km long from Venezuela to Argentina. Bariloche, which is on the southern shores of Nahuel Huapi Lake, is one of its most important cities in Patagonia and offers several stunning places to go ski touring.

On this trip we can choose between several peaks depending on your ski level and the weather and snow conditions. Some of the options are:

  • Cerro Catedral (2,405 m), with steep couloirs surrounded by granite towers.

  • Cerro López (2,075m), surrounded by deep blue lakes and big mountains like Tronador.

  • Cerro Challhuaco, with a nice forest and some excellent views of the Nahuel Huapi National Park.

I will pick you up early in the morning and drive us to the chosen mountain. Then, we will spend a full day of ski touring on untracked terrain surrounded by wonderful landscapes!

So, if you are up for this gorgeous ski touring day trip around Bariloche, please contact me. I’ll be glad to be your guide in this amazing area that I know so well!

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
