Presanella 2-day Guided ascent in the Italian Alps

Follow me to the heart of the high mountains in the Italian Alps surrounded by glaciers and alpine history. On this two-day ascent to Trentino’s highest peak, Presanella, you’ll discover vertiginous walls, stunning landscapes and the exciting vastness of the mountains.

This easy ascent will be done in 2 days. On the first day, we’ll hike for 1.5 hours up to the Denza refuge. There, we’ll review climbing techniques, safety maneuvers and special tips for the following day, and relax during the afternoon with a cold beer. Then, on day 2, we’ll go up the Moraine up to Vedretta della Presanella. From there, we’ll go along the glacier and the rocky connection between Presanella and the Cima di Vermiglio. We’ll continue towards Freshfield saddle and the longed-for summit. The itinerary may change due to participants’ skills or weather conditions.
