Description
Prisank Via Ferrata is a fun activity to enjoy Slovenian outdoors in a dynamic way.
Prisank (2547 m) is a majestic mountain located in Slovenia's only national park, Triglav National Park. It is part of the Julian Alps and it shows its huge north face towards Kranjska Gora and Vršič pass.
And in this program I offer you to climb it via the Kopišar route, in the western part of its north face. We'll start from Vršič pass (1611 m) and it will take us about half an hour to get to where the climbing starts. From there on it will be a four hours climb and two and a half hours down, with a total altitude gain of 1000 meters.
During the whole tour I will show you the way and take care of the security. And I'll also tell you a bit around the surroundings, the country, its people and its culture. So it will be much more than just an outdoors activity!

Mountain Guide
I am a IFMGA certified mountain guide, ski instructor, and sports teacher.
I believe guides do their best job when they guide in the mountains they are most familiar with. That is one of the biggest reasons why I specialize in guiding in Slovenia. I climb Triglav more than 25 times per year, which means I have climbed the most famous peak in my country around 400 times.
If you want to climb or ski in the Slovenian mountains, I am the right choice. I guide via ferrata, rock climbing, snow climbing, ice climbing, hikes, freeride skiing, and ski touring. Most of my summer work involves climbing Triglav, and most of my winter work involves Triglav and ski touring around it.

Mitja was very helpful from sign-up for the tour to drop off at the end of the adventure. He pleasantly answered all questions and concerns throughout. He was informative, encouraging, patient and fun. He arranged things so that my group could easily get transport to our next location after the hike. The actual hike was more challenging than I expected, but it was absolutely amazing. Happy and proud to have completed this adventure with my son. 😀
