Description

Towering above the Nangma Valley in the Karakoram mountain range is the Amin Brakk, or Great Tower.

The Nangma Valley offers an immense bundle of rock climbing opportunities and is one of the most popular and beautiful places in Pakistan.

Amin Brakk presents a rewarding challenge with complex and extended walls, which offer more challenging and technical climbs than the neighbouring Trango Towers.

The rocks here consist of schist and gneiss, yet most of Amin Brakk, which soars to 5,850 meters, is made of granite.

We’ll begin our expedition in the capital of Islamabad, which is the perfect springboard to head into the high mountains of northern Pakistan.

You’ll be able to get to know the city of Skardu in the Gilgit-Baltistan region, the gateway to the Karakoram mountains that rise above 8,000 meters. A true land of giants.

Among the 25-day expedition in northern Pakistan, approximately 18 days will be packed full of trekking and climbing to the peak and back.

The first recorded successful ascent of Amin Brakk was in 1999 when a Spanish team made up of Silvia Vidal, Pep Masip and Miguel Puigdomenech scaled the giant wall.

Get in touch now to reserve your place on an epic 25-day expedition to the Nangma Valley of Pakistan and rock climb the great Amin Brakk.
