Description

Situated in the northwest corner of Montana, Stillwater Canyon is the perfect spot for rock climbers of every level!

Nestled among the northernmost stretch of the US Rocky Mountains, Stillwater Canyon boasts more than 30 different climbing routes.

Starting from Stryker, just 30 minutes north of Whitefish, we will head out into the canyon first thing in the morning.

For beginners, we can go over essential safety and climbing tips, getting you out onto the rocks and up your first modest ascents.

For more advanced climbers, plenty of sport, trad and top rope climbing opportunities up high, green Argillite canyon walls abound and there is no better way to spend a Montana summer day than out on the rocks.

As we climb, we will enjoy phenomenal views of the the verdant Koocanusa National Forest as well as into the stunning Rocky Mountains.

This corner of Montana is fairly remote, with no major cities nearby. This means that we should have plenty of the canyon to ourselves, enjoying unfettered climbing and unhindered views.

So what are you waiting for? Book now for this fun and scenic 1-day rock climbing experience in Stillwater Canyon, outside of Whitefish, Montana!
